Marion Lichty: Random #2

Sophie Scholl: The Final Days is about a the last six days of Sophie Scholl’s life during her involvement in a world war II anti-Nazi group called The White Rose.   Her and her brother, Hans Scholl, pass out pamphlets that protest the Nazis at the University of Munich.   Sophie Scholl is caught by the Gestapo and is interrogated about The White Rose.  She ultimately gives her life for the cause.
Sophie Scholl: The Final Days is a fantastic movie.  It shows how far an individual is willing to go for what they belief in.  Sophie did not stop believing that stopping the Nazis.   Even at her last moments on earth, she still believed she did the right thing protesting against the Nazis.   Same goes for any belief.  If an individual believes strongly enough, nothing will change their minds.  Overall, this movie did a great job depicting the strength of beliefs.
