Samantha Bray- Outside Reading Post 5

I read a story about pure selflessness. A college student by the name of Cameron Lyle is an athlete at the University of New Hampshire. He has made the decision to give up his athletic career to save a man’s life. Lyle entered the bone marrow registry a few years ago, and just got a call that he was a match for a man that had about 6 months to live without the transplant. Lyle said it was pretty much a no brainer. He said the opportunity to save someone’s life like this doesn’t happen very often and that any decent human being would take the risk and donate. This is such a selfless act. He is giving up a huge part of his life to save someone else. I just hope that anyone who is put in this situation would do the same.
